Battle Cast Cho'Gath n' thoughts on champs after Patch

     So guys Cho' Gath is getting his second legendary skin, making him the second champion ever to have 2 legendary skins. The Skin is really amazing and Riot just keeps steeping up it's game when it comes to the newer skins. However I would like them to give all champions a second skin and Champions like Trundle to get newer ones maybe also update some of the older skins.
     I got to say Xin Zhao nerfs didn't affect my gameplay at all, he is still ridiculously strong if played correctly and the damage nerf on his E was barely noticed (Only noticed it when enemy Olaf got away with 5 health :()
    Rumble nerfs were pretty hard, the dps i usually saw when i played Rumble was at about 75% pre nerf and top lane was suddenly a challenge. Yorick's nerf basically just meant i recalled a little earlier than usual didn't notice any solid game play changes with him. Twitch still feels like how he was before, slightly underpowered, but it made last hitting a bit easier so I am Ok with that. Eve invisibilty for DoT really helped, suprised how much that small changed help the gameplay. IF you guys have your own opinions, or disagree with mine, post them in the comment sections.

  • Pending the completion of some further testing on PBE, Diana will be released at a future date

Amumu
  • Cursed Touch (Passive)
    • Duration reduced to 3 seconds from 4
  • Tantrum
    • Mana cost reduced to 35 from 50
  • Bandage Toss
    • Ability Power ratio reduced to 0.7 from 1.0
  • Curse of the Sad Mummy
    • Ability Power ratio reduced to 0.8 from 1.0

Brand
  • Pyroclasm
    • Missile Speed increased to 1000 from 800
    • Missile Speed no longer increases when hitting ablaze targets
    • If Pyroclasm strikes an ablaze target, the next bounce will now prioritize champions

Cho'gath
  • General
    • Magic Resist per level increased to 1.25
    • Attack Range normalized to 125 from 130
  • Rupture
    • Cast time reduced to 0.5 seconds from 0.672
    • Delay normalized to 0.625 seconds from 0.5 - 0.75
  • Feral Scream
    • Cast time reduced to 0.5 seconds from 0.6417
  • Vorpal Spikes
    • Width now increases based on Cho'gath's size
  • Feast
    • Now grants Cho'gath up to 50 additional Attack Range, based on Feast rank and amount of stacks
    • Cast time normalized to 0.5 seconds from 0.43
    • Range increased to 150 from 100

Evelynn

    • Recommended items on Summoner's Rift now include Boots of Mobility
  • Shadow Walk (Passive)
    • Restealth duration reduced to 6 seconds from 8
    • Dealing periodic damage (ie: Ignite) no longer prevents her from restealthing
  • Agony's Embrace
    • Cooldown reduced to 120/100/80 seconds from 150/120/90

Hecarim
  • Devastating Charge
    • Now more responsive when colliding with opponents
    • Initial Movement Speed bonus increased to 25% from 0% (still reaches max speed at the same time)
  • Onslaught of Shadows
    • Enemy flee speed is now higher based on how close the enemy is to Hecarim

Janna
  • Zephyr
    • Ability Power ratio reduced to 0.6 from 0.8
    • Fixed: Janna will no longer sometimes retain the passive bonuses while Zephyr is on cooldown

Lulu
  • Wild Growth
    • Fixed: Now completes its effects even if the allied target was about to take lethal damage at the time of casting

Rammus

Rumble
  • Junkyard Titan (Passive)

Yorick
  • Omen of Famine
    • Ravenous Ghoul will only heal Yorick for 50% the damage it deals to minions
  • Omen of Death
    • Fixed: The Revenant no longer instantly dies upon casting Omen of Death on an allied Evelynn

Proving Grounds
  • Repositioned Health Relics so players are less likely to unintentionally walk through them
  • Adjusted Nexus turrets
    • Nexus turrets reduced from two to one
    • Nexus turrets now have an additional 20 Armor, 800 Health, and 30 base Attack Damage
  • Experience curve adjusted so that levels 14-18 take slightly longer to reach

General
  • You can now reset the current audio configuration back to defaults from the audio options menu
  • Battle Training
    • The "Buy Boots" quest will now properly fire
    • The "Defeat the Lizard Elder" and "Defeat the Ancient Golem" quests will now properly fire when playing as Ashe
    • The tip regarding Champion Ultimate Abilities will now show up properly when playing as Ashe
    • Soraka Bot and Nasus Bot will no longer get stuck
  • Updated several Champion art assets including splash art and icons for various Mordekaiser, Cassiopeia, Kassadin, Ezreal, and Ashe skins
  • Fixed: Summoner's Insight now correctly works with Promote (now correctly grants bonus defensive stats)
  • Fixed: Custom game bots now lane properly when allied players are jungling
  • Updated tooltips for Ahri, Annie, Jarvan IV, Leona, Lux and Morgana

New Tribunal Feature
  • Players punished by the Tribunal will now be e-mailed a "Reform Card" which gives additional details about their case

     A lot of expected nerfs and buffs during this patch one of the biggest being the huge nerf to Rumble. Had to say I saw this one coming, he really just pubstomped top and was a terror to go up against. One of my friends who's main is Rumble was quite heartbroken needless to say. Yorick changes also quite expected for much of the same reason, he was just too strong toplane.
    Plus side though is Cho'Gath and Brand buffs which were both needed. Cho'Gath especially seeing as he was really weak, have to try him out now to see how good he is. The Twitch and eve buffs were kinda meh, but riot is at least closer to full balancing those 2 champions, would like to see a couple further buffs for the both of them.
   Still waiting on Corki buffs as he isn't the strongest AD carry now but with a few buffs to his base ad and his Q I believe he will begin to see much more ranked play than he does at his current state.

Day 1: A Venture Into New Territories

Day 1:

Well today's game, to put it in simple terms, was very enlightening. To start it off today I decided to try something I have never done before, AP Master Yi, and let me tell you. It is not something you want to underestimate as early game with a decent AP rune set i knocked off 1/4 of my opponents health (it was Brand) and it led to first blood rather quickly (@ 5:00 min mark approx). However this led the Brand to be cautious and have the enemy Skarner gank quite frequently. These events led to 2 deaths for me as I hadn't placed my wards yet (stupidly). I was forced play cautiously and focused on farming reaching a new all time record for farming with yi for me; 180 minions at the 25 min mark matched only by my Corki farm. The team-fight phase was when I began to shine, having so much farm I had already bought a Rabadon's and a Lich Bane and was almost finished with Rylai's. Our Leona initiated and I quickly followed in with my Q and our carry cleaned up the enemies rather quickly. We then proceeded to push and destroy a few turrets. The Cycle repeated itself 3 times resulting in a win at the 30 min mark. I honestly didn't think that AP Master Yi was going to preform half as well as he did, especially considering everyone I talked to in the Chat room said he was fairly hard to use. If I every played him again(which I probably will) I would probably build him Doran's Ring-> Mercury Treads->Kage's Pick 2X Doran's Ring-> Rabadon's -> Selling Doran's Ring->Lich Bane-> Death Fire's Grasp-> Rylai's -> Guardian Angel. To clarify I am b3astliness.

Introduction

Hey guys,
    This blog is about a video game I really like to play called League of Legends. It will mostly focus on my experience throughout the game, what I learned through experimentation, and in the future could have videos of actual game play. I plan to update this blog everyday( except in rare cases when I am extremely busy), with new articles and content. The content will mostly feature my thoughts on new champions, tips and tricks, and unique builds that really let a champion excel, my thoughts on major tournaments and much more. Let me start by describing myself, first off I am a Level 30 ranked player with a 1200 Elo( meaning I am about as average as they get), so don't expect to see a professional level of expertise. I have experience in every role of the game (Support, Mid ,etc.) and have unique mastery page and rune page setup for each role. I also quite frequently play the game with my friends as a sort of relaxed casual gamer and enjoy it thoroughly.
